CANDLE CARE & SAFETY
By following these care rules, you’ll enjoy a longer-lasting, safer, and more even-burning candle experience.
Proper Wick Maintenance
- Trim the wick to 3-5 mm before each burn to prevent excessive soot, uneven burning, and flickering.
- If the wick moves off-center during burning, extinguish the candle and gently reposition the wick before relighting.
Burning MUSTS
- Allow the wax to melt evenly to the edges of the container during burns. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn.
- Do not burn your candle for more than 3 hours at a time to avoid overheating the container and excessive wick mushrooming.
- Never burn a candle when less than 1 cm of wax remains, as the jar may overheat and crack.
Safety Precautions
- Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface or a coaster—never directly on furniture or other delicate surfaces.
- The container will be hot while the candle is burning. Handle with care and never move the candle while in use.
- Do not allow wick trimming or other materials to accumulate in wax pool.
- Keep candles away from drafts, flammable objects, pets, and children.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish it before leaving the room.
